Our office is in New Berlin, and we're serving clients in 24 states whose homes, businesses, and investment properties cross state lines.

Toby Hartman
Owner | Sales and Risk Strategy
Toby brings 20 years of insurance experience to MM Insurance Associates. As the agency’s owner, he works closely with individuals, families, business owners, and real estate investors to understand the risks behind their assets and operations. He is especially involved in complex accounts, new business strategy, and helping clients evaluate coverage options across multiple carriers and states. Toby’s approach is relationship driven: understand the client first, explain the choices clearly, and build a long-term insurance strategy around what matters most.
Outside the office, Toby enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, waterskiing, downhill skiing, and trying to break 90 on the golf course.
Scott Johanek
Growth & Digital Strategist
Scott has been with MM Insurance Associates for five years and leads the agency’s growth, digital strategy, and technology initiatives. He focuses on building better systems for clients and the team, improving how the agency communicates, and using automation and artificial intelligence to make service faster, more consistent, and more personal. Drawing on his background in engineering, entrepreneurship, and real estate investing, Scott brings an operator’s perspective to the agency and helps MM continue evolving without losing the relationships that define an independent insurance agency.
Outside the office, Scott and his wife, Michelle, enjoy renovating and investing in real estate. He can also be found on the golf course or searching for Wisconsin’s best Old Fashioned.
Teresa Kaasa
Operations & Commercial Lines
Teresa brings more than a decade of insurance experience to MM Insurance Associates and specializes in commercial insurance. She manages complex business accounts, coordinates carrier submissions and renewals, reviews coverage, and helps clients navigate claims, policy changes, and evolving business risks. Teresa currently holds active individual producer licenses in Illinois, Kansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Her combination of technical knowledge, organization, and follow-through makes her a trusted resource for business owners throughout the life of their insurance program.
Outside the office, Teresa enjoys traveling, sports, time with her husband, two daughters, and three grandchildren, and mentoring women as a Mary Kay team leader.
Amy Rambow
Senior Account Manager
Amy brings more than a decade of insurance experience to MM Insurance Associates and leads much of the agency’s personal insurance work. She helps individuals and families evaluate protection for their homes, vehicles, valuables, and personal liability, then continues to guide them through renewals, coverage changes, and major life events. Amy currently holds active individual producer licenses in 21 states, giving her valuable experience with clients whose homes, vehicles, and family needs cross state lines. She is known for making complex coverage easier to understand and for giving clients practical, personal guidance.
Outside the office, Amy enjoys exploring state and national parks, roller skating, and spending time with her husband, three children, and daughter-in-law.
Molly Hartman
Office Manager
Molly has served MM Insurance Associates for eight years and is a central part of the agency’s day-to-day client service. She helps clients with certificates of insurance, evidence of property insurance, billing questions, policy changes, renewals, and other time-sensitive service needs. Molly also brings deep working knowledge of the agency’s systems and processes, helping keep requests accurate, organized, and moving forward. Her responsiveness and attention to detail make her one of the people clients and teammates rely on most.
Outside the office, Molly is rarely far from her Golden Retriever, Daisy. She also enjoys volunteering and spending time at the lake with family.
Emily Wisdorf

Executive Assistant
Emily has been with MM Insurance Associates for three years and supports the agency’s leadership, planning, reporting, and day-to-day coordination. She helps keep priorities organized, meetings prepared, follow-ups documented, and important projects moving forward. Her work behind the scenes gives the rest of the team more time to focus on clients, coverage, and service. Emily brings structure, consistency, and thoughtful follow-through to a fast-moving independent agency.
Outside the office, Emily enjoys time with her family and young daughters. She also runs a custom sugar cookie business.
Lady Joy (LJ)
Executive Assistant
LJ has supported MM Insurance Associates for three years and helps keep the agency’s insurance operations accurate, organized, and moving forward. She handles administrative coordination, data entry, and the detailed preparation of client and policy information so Amy and Teresa have complete, well-organized files ready for carrier proposals. Much of LJ’s work happens behind the scenes, but it plays an important role in helping the team respond efficiently and present accurate information to insurance carriers.
Outside the office, LJ enjoys the beach, spending time outdoors with her two dogs, watching Netflix, and managing her small clothing line.
